. Dr. Saavedra - Tampa area 1-813-878-2211 Woman's health, he does treat Vulvodynia and vulvar vestibulitis but does not do Pelvic Floor Therapy. He may be able to refer you to someone. (Dr. Jay Berman, Southfield, MI-phone # 248.352.8200). He got me off to a good start on treatment - suggested everything U of M did and then some (medications, physical therapy, etc.). I also just had a visit at Beaumont Hospital. They run the WISH Program (Women's Initiative for Pelvic Pain and Sexual Health-phone # 248.551.3565)-structured to treat women with IC and VV type diseases. Currently they are testing a medication to be used specifically for Vulvodynia. I was "this close" to becoming a participant in the research study but was disqualified for a pre-existing health issue. At least someone is trying to help us! Alas
